I'll be riding the Amtrak this spring and need to work out my route and maybe stop-overs. Maybe a stop in Washington DC and possibly New York City. After looking up all the different train station that are near Belhaven NC. Looks like Rocky Mount NC will be my departure location. That's an hour drive from Belhaven, then the next thing would be to find the best place to leave my truck for a week to ten days without breaking the bank. I'll be riding the South and Northeast regions.
